It has been a shocking evening for all Ugandans as one of the clan heads in the biggest Kingdom in Uganda (Buganda) was shot dead. In these accounts, eyewitnesses narrate how the actual shooting of Mr. Daniel Bbosa Lwomwa head of Ndiga (sheep) clan happened and how the killers were later apprehended and put out of action.
Mr. Daniel Bbosa was the head of Ndiga clan in Buganda and the director of Transa Electrical when he was fatally shot dead at 6pm in Kikandwa zone, Lungujja parish, Lubaga Division. The reason for his assassination is not yet known but so far, the assailants were apprehended, one died through mob justice as the other is still in critical condition.
Eyewitnesses narrate to this website that, Mr. Daniel Bbosa Lwomwa had reached his home in his car registration number UAH 637X as assailants that were on a motorcycle registration number UEX 754E opened fire at him from behind. When he heard the gunshots, he stopped the car and the assailants moved to his front and opened more three bullets.
The same eyewitnesses say that, they heard the gunshots and immediately saw Mzee (Mr. Daniel Bbosa) was being attacked. In one minute, three more bullets were released that hit him in the mouth, eye, and head. The chase of these assailants ensued by the boda boda riders and one brave man intercepted them from the front, that is when mob justice started.
One of the killers who had the gun started to run from the point of interception, and he was chased, eventually one man held him and tactfully disarmed him. He was also beaten by another mob but he survived being killed on the spot as police intercepted and rescued him.
