Zedmonk Ssabatontomi breaks Poney's record of longest rap marathon record of 48 hours

The 21 year old Ugandan rapper Kabuubi Akram aka Zedmonk Ssbatontomi has written history not only in the Ugandan music industry, but also broken a standing Guinness World Record Rap Marathon record of 48 hours and set his new record.

It should be known that, Zedmonk started his attempt to break the Guinness World Record on Friday 3rd. And by Sunday 5th at 17:30 hours, he had already broken the existing record that is held by Japan’s Poney of 48 hours while rapping.

The Ugandan rapper Ssabatontomi has so far done 50 hours of the rap marathon and he is aiming at doing it 80 hours. He says he still has a lot of energy and he is ready to raise the Uganda flag higher than it has been.

While doing his sets, the singer said that he is willing to make it to 80 hours so that everyone in this world can know that talent beats anything else. Meanwhile, Zedmonk Ssabatontomi is one of the youngest Ugandan rappers that have won a lot of awards at that young age.

This new Guinness World Record that is being set by the rapper is expected to stand for long, unlike that of Poney which lasted for just less than a year. Many people checked in at Namaste Bar and Restaurant in Kampala to witness this record being broken, and set again.

His fellow singer also appeared like; rapper Feffe Bussi, Cindy Sanyu, Phina Mugerwa and many others. More celebrities are expected to appear as Zedmonk runs to his 80th hour.
