Biography/Profie
Justine Nameere was born on 17th April 1989, making 35 years as of 2024. She was born in Central Uganda, and both her parents lived in Central Uganda until her mother died. Her dad is a Muganda and former Minister called Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja and her late mother was a Tutsi from Rwanda.
Education Background
Justine Nameere attended school up to Degree level. She went to Namugongo boarding primary school for her P.L.E and after she joined Buddo Senior Secondary School for her U.C.E. She later on went to Makerere University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, and closed it at Law Development Centre (LDC) for her certificate in Law and she graduated with a first-class.
After completing her law course at LDC, she joined Makerere University Business School and obtained a certificate in Business Administration and then went ahead to obtain another certificate in Guidance and Counselling at Kampala International University (KIU).
Career
She started her career on a National television on NTV Uganda where she hosted the “Life Stories” show which first aired on March 26, 2012. Within a short time, Justine Nameere rose to fame by interviewing several people with several touching stories.
This made her to grace various magazines and newspapers who profiled her as a young woman changing lives and making a mark on people’s lives. The show lasted for merely two years, and she left the station.
In a twist of events, she joined Vision Group’s Urban TV with the same idea of the show she had at NTV. The new show was called “Life and People” and it aired every Sunday evening. It however did not last a year, she threw in the towel and joined Bukedde television.
At Bukedde television, she hosted a show called Minbuzz”, alongside comedian Dickson Zzizinga which also lasted for just months. It seems she left after doing havoc at Vision Group, because a warning was issued to staff that they should block her from accessing the premises at any cost.

Go ahead and deny her access at all access points till further notice. For further information please contact administration on extension line 158. Thank You!” the warning read.
Her law career did not span for long as after completing her law course, she worked as a court clerk in Masaka district at Lukaaya Magistrate Court. And she left to work on a radio station called Best FM in Masaka district where she was hosting a youth show on positive living in 2009.
Her political career also did not last for long, as she contested for the Youth Member of Parliament for Kampala in 2016 but she decided to step down and pull out of the political race just a few weeks to the day of the elections. She later decided to go for MP Bukoto East Constituency but lost the election to Florence Namayanja.
However, in 2018, Nameere came back on TV screens again with a show called “Omunnyo Ku Makya” at Salt Television. But, in less than a month, she was suspended due to indiscipline issues and disrespect she had for her employers.
Justine Nameere currently is the Senior Presidential Advisor on Greater Masaka Region Affairs. And she says she doesn’t have hopes of bouncing back to radio or television.
Controversies
In July 2019, Justine Nameere was sent to Luzira prison for six months after failing to pay an Shs55 million debt to the businessman, Emmanuel Muwonge. About a week later, she was released from jail. Court documents indicated that she sold a Mercedes Benz worth shs55m yet she had placed it as security at Platinum Credit, a loan giving entity.
Again, she was involved in a bitter cold war with then fellow employee Faridah Nakazibwe. The two were exchanging using their social media accounts and they accused each other of defamation and hate. That is when Faridah was dating her nkuba kyeyo conman called Umar. The two were later on put on the same table and they quit the war.

Family/Relationship
Justine Nameere had a relationship with Kagimba Mugimba Raymond and together the two have two children. A daughter called Mitchelle Jennifer Kitibwa and a son called Mugimba Kagimba.
She is currently married to a one Kennedy Nsubuga who they held a Kukyala ceremony recently and their wedding is for 30th January 2024. The two don’t have a child together yet, but she is rumored to be heavily pregnant.
