Bobi Wine reffers to Mathias Mpuuga and Abed Bwanika as two little dogs in his London show

The Opposition leader and President of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine had no kind words for two of his party affiliated MPs, Hon. Mathias Mpuuga and Hon. Abed Bwanika during his London show.

After over ten years, Bobi Wine was able to perform once again in London. The singer while performing his Matyansi Butyampa fired shots at his MPs. Initially this song was a diss to Bebe Cool, his father, Jaberi Bidandi Ssali and the Kiwoko Boys (Eighton and Rain) who were in Gagamel at the time.

But this time round the former Kyadondo East MP found more use for the lyrics. Towards the enthusiastic audience, Bobi Wine said that this was a freestyle. Without fear or favor, he referred to the two Members of Parliament as the two little dogs who are afraid of him.

He went ahead to brand himself a revolutionary saying that the time for too much English and suits ended a long time ago. This was also another diss aimed at the well versed politicians. However, not everyone found his performance enjoyable.

Several social media users took to the internet to criticize him. They labeled him immature as they said that what he’s doing is burning his own house down. Some said that this is an issue he shouldn’t even be dwelling on anymore because it’s expired.

“I have seen a clip from Bobi Wine’s show in London where he attacks Mathias Mpuuga and Abed Bwanika for straying from the so-called struggle. At some point it gets too personal (what do Mpuuga’s suits and his English got to do with the struggle?). Not surprisingly, the crowd loved it…” journalist Edris Kiggundu started his say.

“…but this was so low brow. With my many years of covering politics, I have not seen this level of political & emotional immaturity from someone aspiring to cause change & lead this country. Bobi Wine has to move on from the Mpuuga saga, where he clearly has the upper hand,” Edris Kiggundu concluded.

However, his keyboard warriors and foot soldiers were there to defend him. These argued that their principle has the right to do whatever he wants.

It should be remembered that, Mathias Mpuuga fell from Bobi’s mercy when he decided with the help of Speaker Anita Among to allegedly award himself with 500 million Ugx just 4 months after he was made Leader of Opposition in parliament.
