The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has announced more than 130,000 job opportunities to be grabbed by all Ugandans. The Uganda Population Census jobs/Employment opportunities are for Ugandans that are aged 18 to 50 years. Here are the job titles and how to apply with requirements.
This activity is called National Population and Housing Census (NPHC) 2024 that will take place from 10th May 2024 to 19th May 2024. And the 9th May 2024 day is the Census night that sets the production of reliable official statistics for the National Statistical System.
Here are the Population Census Jobs/Employment opportunities and qualifying Ugandans can now apply as follows;
Census Enumeration Supervisors. UBOS is seeking to employ 18,483 Enumeration Supervisors countrywide. These will be responsible for reporting to Sub county/division census supervisors and the job is for one month.
They will be undertaking supervision of census enumeration exercise in the assigned areas. They will also have to mobilize LC1 chairmen to assist in the exercise. And qualification for this job is minimum Diploma training.
More so, one must be registered on Mobile Money and in their own names, must have a smart phone, good communication skills, aged 18 to 50 years, must have a National ID, knowledge in basic computer use and more.
Enumerators. UBOS here is seeking for 114,460 qualifying Ugandans to fill these slots, and the main role is to conduct enumeration in all assigned areas. They report to the Census Enumeration Supervisors and it will last for one month.

About the requirements of this job, they are like the ones above but one must have completed A level or its equivalent and must be willing to be available for the census activity from 1st April 2024 to 25th May 2024.
