Comedian Maulana Kasozi has been released from Luzira prison where he was sent yesterday but one after being arrested from at Zone 7 in Natete. Magistrate Adams Byarugaba sent him to Luzira prison after reading charges of Child Neglect.
Now, news coming in indicate that the comedian Maulana Kasozi has been released on bail and court has ordered him to pay Ugx830,000 monthly to make it 10 million shillings annually. He will be giving this amount to his wife Nalujja Shubira who the two have three children.
This money is meant to meet 4,000,000 shillings in school fees annually and the rest goes to rent and feeding. The same court ordered him to make sure his family is not abandoned as he has a second wife who he gives his time and focus leaving Shubira and her children at the mercy of God.
It should however be noted that, Maulana Kasozi recently informed the public how his life was in danger while he was still staying with Shubira Nalujja. He asserted that, she tried poisoning him, after she failed on the mission, she instead poisoned herself and she was rushed to the hospital.
