Newly appointed Minister, Balaam Barugahara has revealed how he will miss his famed orange striped T-shirt. The event’s promoter was surprisingly but not shockingly appointed a minister by President Museveni.
He will serve as the State Minister of Gender, Youth and Children affairs. Balaam had cultivated a name for himself in this T-shirt. Apparently, he hasn’t been changing it and most of his public photos are in this T-shirt.
It seems he had developed a close bond with it but unfortunately, his name job will require him to be formal in terms of dress wear. Speaking about it, he said that he will try to ask the Speaker if the laws can be amended to allow everyone to wear what they want.
This is because he has a phobia for suits. But even if he’s not permitted to wear his T-shirt whenever he goes to Parliament, he will always carry it along in his car. Once he’s done with his official duties, he will wear it again and embark on his ventures.
“I’m going to ask my friend, the speaker Anita Among to see if I can be allowed in Parliament with my T-shirt. Or if the laws can be changed so that people wear what they want. However, if that is not possible, I will be moving with my T-shirt in the car. After my duties I wear it,” Balaam Barugahara said.

Meanwhile, the Minister appointee was asked when he assumes office. The businessman said that he’s waiting for the appointing and authorizing bodies to notify him. Additionally, he promised artistes that he would front the copyright law. This is because the people who have been handling the issue didn’t understand it well.
But as him who understands the plight of Musicians, he will surely shed light on it. He also promised to work on the youth’s issues because it’s his primary area.
