We have finally come to learn that the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is set to release Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE 2023/2024) results. Sources have revealed that, everything is now set and ready for the official release on a date that is already confirmed.
A very close source inside UNEB told our Zivuga cops that, the delay for the release of UCE results 2023 was caused by various unavoidable circumstances that range from arranging a meeting with the Minister of Education and Sports Janet Kataha Museveni, to data entry at UNEB.
The same source quipped to us that, it has been confirmed the UCE 2023/2024 results will be released on Thursday this week. It will be 15th February 2024 and this exercise will take place at the State Lodge in Nakasero.
Additionally, stakeholder meetings commenced last week and they are still going on, and quality assurance has been done to ensure everything is in the right order before the results are released. This helps in avoiding discrepancies in the results to be announced and confirming the right figures to be read by the Minister of Education and Sports.
“We are done with everything, only that a few issues held us up that stretch from arranging a meeting with our Minister of Education and Sports to compiling data and its entry in the system. But the results will be released this week” the source quipped.

It should however be noted that, UNEB has been facing an uphill task in making clear announcements on social media and its website on the news that would be circulating about the release of UCE 2023 results. It also faced a stiff demand for the immediate release of results so that parents can prepare well and gather school fees.
Furthermore, it should be remembered that, PLE results 2023 release also delayed for more than a week because UNEB faced a challenge of meeting the First Lady who is the Minister of Education and Sports. She was so busy to schedule a near meeting with the UNEB stakeholders.
