Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu better known as Chairman Nyanzi, the older brother of singer/politician, Bobi Wine has left heads wobbling after he announced honeymoon details with his wife, Majorine Katumba Nyanzi.

The couple will this week on Friday, 26th April walk down the aisle in holy matrimony. Apparently this wedding will take place at Rubaga Cathedral Church. It’s here that they have invited all different kinds of well-wishers to attend the function.

It’s expected to be full of pomp, glamour and glitz. The two lovebirds are then expected to host their guests at Freedom City Hall, along Entebbe Road.

As most couples normally do, especially when there is money, they go for a honeymoon to cool off from everything and have some good time together. Well this doesn’t seem to be the case for the Nyanzi’s.

They won’t hold such celebrations once the wedding reception is over. This is because the former Kampala central parliamentary aspirant will be busy with NUP’s official activities.

He is the head of mobilization at the Makerere Kavule based party and with the 2026 general elections always edging closer, Nyanzi will surely be busy.

According to him, this wedding is itself going to be a big achievement for him. Therefore the getaways will come in the future when he’s no longer so busy.

It should be noted that Chairman Nyanzi and his wife have been together for over 23 years. In that time frame, they have sired 11 children together.

Besides, the couple was slated to have their wedding in 2020. However, it was postponed after the emergence of COVID-19 and their subsequent lockdown.  At the time, Majorine had just introduced Chairman Nyanzi to her parents in Kyankwanzi district.

He also this year graduated with a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Makerere University, Kampala.
