Bobi Wine warns NUP MPs against taking the 100 million bribe

The ongoing 3.5 trillion supplementary saga is set to leave many political groups on fire, the first being National Unity Platform (NUP). This comes after the NUP president, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine gave the NUP MPs (Members of Parliament) a strong warning.

While addressing a meeting at the National Unity Platform head offices, Kyagulanyi Robert asserted that he already knows the ongoing cash bonanza at Parliament. And he added that, all Members of Parliament are set to receive 100 million each to pass the supplementary budget of 3.5 billion shillings.

Each and every Member of Parliament is being bribed with Shs100 million to pass the supplementary budget. I want to warn our Members of Parliament of Nationa Unity Platform, that we know about this and I have broken the news to the public. I’ll not protect anybody that gets involved in this grand theft of taxpayers’ money” – Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Bobi Wine warned his NUP MPs.

More so, while on the same meeting, he attacked president Museveni saying that he is an extravagant president who wants to get more 418 billion shillings to run his daily expenditure. Bobi Wine vowed not to protect any NUP Member of Parliament that will accept the 100 million shillings bribe.

Out of that 3.5 trillion shillings, 418 billion shillings is going to Museveni’s house. Now this is the man that is already spending 2 billion shillings everyday, however that is not enough, Museveni needs some more 418 billion, to spend more” Kyagulanyi Ssentamu added.
