News coming on our desk indicate that, the legendary singing group of Blu3 is coming back together for The Reunion concert after more than 10 years of separation. This group was comprised of Cindy Sanyu, Lillian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru.
The Blu3’s Reunion concert is slated to take place this month and the best part of this is that, they are reuniting with their former boss Steve Jean. It is being learnt that, Steve Jean’s Fenon Records is the one that is arranging for this Reunion concert and this will see the music giants step on the same stage again after over 10 years.
In a statement, Cindy Sanyu revealed that the reunion of Blu3 is for a specific project, stressing that it is not a permanent reunion as people may misperceive it. Cindy continued and informed that, the three will release songs that will help them boost their The Reunion concert.
It should be remembered that, Blu3 (Black Ladies of Uganda 3) separated when they were at their musical peak. It all started when Cindy Sanyu left the group claiming that the management had pushed her away because she had gone to visit her then boyfriend in Italy.
The Steve Jean management then replaced Cindy with Mya who spent a short time with the group and then got married, her husband stopped her from doing music. Years later, the remaining members Jackie and Lillian Mbabazi went solo too.
Blu3 did various songs like Mutima Gwange, Nsanyuka Naawe, Prisoner, Akayimba Kali, Ssanyu Lyange, Burn, Kankyakyankye and many more. Let us brace ourselves for a mega The Reunion performance from the stage queens, Jackie Chandiru, Cindy Sanyu and Lillian Mbabazi.
