When Will UCE 2023/2024 Results Be Released? Date Revealed

The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB), the body responsible for the setting and manning the examinations in Uganda is one of the busiest government entities currently. This after the release of PLE results 2023, and now UCE (Senior 4) results 2023/2024 on the way.

News coming on our desk indicates that, the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or Senior 4 results are the next to be released. And close sources from UNEB reveal that, the UCE results 2023/2024 will be released in the first week of February.

The same source revealed that, there will be a meeting with the First Lady who doubles as the Minister of Education and Sports in the early days of February depending her availability at the moment. Then the UCE results 2023/2024 will be released there after.

This year’s PLE results release was delayed for days after the efforts to secure a meeting with the First Lady did not happen earlier because of her busy schedule. But they were finally released this week.

UNEB is planning to release UCE results in the first week of February if the meeting with the Minister of Education takes place earlier, and the second week if the meeting doesn’t take place early” the source chirped.

Best districts in performance PLE 2023 included; Kampala, Wakiso, Masaka, Mukono, Mbarara and many others. Then the worst performing districts included; Kibuku (31.5%), Madi Okollo (31.5%), Dokolo (28.9%), Namisindwa (28.9), Kween (28.4%) and others.

And the best performing Primary schools in PLE 2023 were from Kampala mainly, followed by Wakiso, Mukono then Masaka. As usual, these are the best performers every examinations calendar.

For the schools that were suspected to have involved in examinations malpractice, there PLE results were withheld until investigations and judgement are reached. But UNEB advised on what they can do fir a meantime as they wait for the final word from the Ministry of Education and Sports.
