Police in Kamuli are on the hunt for a lady called Susan Namuganza who, after a violent argument in her marriage, severed her husband’s penis. After cutting it off, she fled the scene with an undisclosed sum of money.
On Monday, June 10, Moses Kawubanya, 45, a well-known educator and the director of Serena Children’s Home, went through a horrifying experience. Kawubanya, who lives in the Busana zone, Nabirumba ward, Nabwigulu sub-county, Kamuli district had an ordinary day at first, but it quickly turned into a gruesome nightmare.
Susan Namuganza, 34, is now the subject of an attempted murder investigation by the police. This investigation is being led by Michael Kasadha, the spokesperson for Busoga North. Susan Namuganza is now at large. The event is said to have occurred at the couple’s Busana residence at about 3 am.
In his statement, Kasadha paints a strange and horrifying picture. After taking a shower early in the morning, Kawubanya wrapped a towel around his waist and went back to bed. Prior to their three-month-old infant starting to cry, everything appeared normal. Namuganza reappeared with a knife instead of a bottle to feed their baby.
She then brutally and shockingly attacked Kawubanya, chopping his penis in the process. To add to the trauma, she made off with an undisclosed sum of money. Thishas now made the case to become one of both theft and assault.
Kawubanya was in so much anguish and had so many injuries. However, he was still able to ask a neighbor for assistance. After receiving emergency care at Kamuli General Hospital, he was taken to Kamuli Central Police Station to report the event.

Kasadha gave the public the reassurance that the police are actively looking for Suzan Namuganza and are carrying out exhaustive investigations to learn all the specifics of this heinous incident.
