As the public is biting fingernails and waiting for the announcement of the UCE results 2023, Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has given a green light and an update about this. It furthermore updated about the fake news making rounds about the results.
Just days after the examinations body UNEB released the PLE results 2023, Ugandans have started to demand for the quick release of UCE results 2023. That is how they have gone an extra mile, to start up fake news surrounding the results. The rumor was suggesting that the results are to be released on Friday.
In an update and statement from UNEB and the Ministry of Education that is headed by the First Lady Mama Janet Kataha Museveni, it has been said that the rumor going on is baseless. Additionally, UNEB informed that it is finalizing with the necessary Quality Assurance procedures prior the release of UCE results 2023.
“The public is asked to disregard this message as it is baseless. We shall communicate officially the UCE results 2023 release date when it is set. The board is currently finalizing with the necessary quality assurance procedures that proceed the release” an official statement from UNEB reads.
So, in this case all stakeholders have to be patient and wait on UNEB to communicate. Furthermore, as part of the procedures, there must be a meeting with the Minister of Education and Sports at State House before the results are released.

And this meeting hasn’t taken place yet, although we were earlier informed by highly placed sources that the UCE results 2023 will be released in the first or second week of February
