The family of city robber and aspirant politician, Paddy Sserunjoji alias Sobbi has come out to tell the world what it did not know about him. This comes a day after he was beaten to death by an angry mob after being involved in a land wrangle in Maddu, Gomba district.
While talking to journalists, Sobi family especially his daughter asserted that her father was a one of his kind. She continued to say that his death was a shocker to everyone since it was abrupt, and added that Sobbi had a very nice positive side that we all didn’t know about.
In her statements, she continued to assert that Sobi was a man loved by everyone in their neighborhood. That he was looking after many people and doing many good things to everyone in his vicinity. That only made him a celebrity in his area, that is why he events wanted to contest for the Kampala Mayorship seat in 2026 general elections.
On the other hand, Paddy Sserunjoji aka Sobbi’s grandfather said that, he was in much pain to see that his grandson left the world so quickly. He furthermore appealed to the givernment to help them with resources so that they give him a descent send off.
“I appeal to the government to help us on the burial of Sobi, he was working for them. They could send him to execute their duties and since he is dead, they should come in and help.” Sobbi’s grandfather said.

Internet is currently divided into two parts, those that support what Sobbi used to do, and those that are laughing off his death. The deceased appeared on televisions and radios and confessed how he was the leader of the terror gang of Kifeesi.
He on several occasions explained how he would steal money from people, and he one day said that he would steal from people after hitting them. In his statements, he used to assert that he used to work with police and for police. Making him not being a regular in police custody.
Further more, it is being alleged that he was one of those people that CMI under the leadership of Bagyenda Kaka used to torture people in safe house in Kyengera. There is a group of people that are happy that Sobbi died because of this.
