In our biography book today, we bring to you Sheikh Ismail Sulaiman Nkata. He was the pillar of Islam in Uganda, and he was responsible for many things in the religion. He died a very clean man as far as controversies are concerned.
Biography
Sheikh Ismail Sulaiman Nkata’s date of birth is not known to the media yet. His place of birth and parents are also not known to us yet. But we shall update this section for you to get it all and get to know more about him.
Education
Sheikh Ismail Sulaiman Nkata attained his education in Uganda through some Muslim founded schools. He moved on to Saudi Arabia and did a course that enabled him to be one of those Sheikhs that knew Arabic and became consultants in the same language.
Works in Islam
Sheikh Ismail Sulaiman Nkata is the one that initiated the translation of the holy book, Quran. He made sure new converts, and existing Muslims understood more about the holy book. He wrote many books and did more thousands of translations of the Quran.
More so, he gave himself a task of education Muslims about the Islamic religion through all media platforms. Wherever he got a chance, he would use it to explain what Islam is about. He conducted Darasa classes and left no stone unturned by the time of his death.

Sheikh Ismail Nkata had a family and he was married to two wives. The number of his children is not yet established.

He was not a very wealthy man, but of course he was among those top rich Sheikhs in Uganda. His net worth is estimated to be around $70k – $100k.
Death
Sheikh Sulaiman Nkata died on the 16th of December 2023 before midnight. News of his death spread like wildfire and Ugandans spent days in cold moods. The cause of his death is not yet established up to now.
