Producer Didi reveals who infected him with HIV/AIDS

Legendary and veteran producer Didi has shared details about how he contracted HIV/AIDS. This week, the producer talked candidly about how a medical examination revealed he had HIV. A number of questions have been lingering in the public domain since then.

The producer has now chosen to address a few of them. He claimed that he was single at the time of this disclosure. Therefore, he believes that no one was impacted by his revelation. Besides, he spends all of his time in the studio and isn’t exactly a party animal.

However, his illness might have resulted from a relationship marked by distrust between him and his ex-girlfriend. Producer Didi went on to say that he made the decision to come out since remaining silent simply makes things worse.

However, by being honest with everyone, including oneself, helps to reduce this tension and lower the level of stress.

Furthermore, he has heard many young people minimize HIV/AIDS. Therefore, his coming out will also aid in raising awareness of the condition, which some people believe to be extinct. Didi also mentioned that he will be taking a break from work and concentrate on resting.

“I know people are asking themselves a lot of questions such as the people I have been with being affected. But I haven’t been with anyone. I’m not that type of a party animal or bar frequenter. However, if you have a partner with whom you have trust issues; they can mess up and end up affecting you too. My coming out is to be honest with myself and help in the sensitization of HIV/AIDS. I have seen a lot of youths saying that the disease no longer exists.”
