The Worship House Lead Pastor, Pr. Wilson Bugembe is another man to smile right now after he won at the prestigious Nieves Film Festival 2024 awards. His movie The Yellow Boy is the one that won this award beating all competitors he was with in the same category.
This happened at the 4th Annual Nieves International Christian Film Festival 2024, which took place from February 21-23 and the awards ceremony on 24th. In this three-day event, there were screenings online of the Nominated Films made and voting took place online.
Pr. Wilson Bugembe won the award in the category of Best Tv and Web Series with his movie The Yellow Boy which was extracted from his life story. In his early sings, he talked about how he only had one t-shirt in his life that was yellow in color.
That is where the inspiration was extracted, and whoever has watched this movie/series has been motivated and inspired never to lose hope on life however much hard it can be. Bugembe’s powerful storytelling and commitment to spreading faith through art has been applauded worldwide.
Back in Uganda, Pr. Wilson Bugembe has been seen as a hero who continues to inspire the youths and the old through his multifaced talents. These spread from music, cinema and his preaching to the souls.
Nieves International Christian Film Festival 2024 are held at 324 Nicholas Parkway West,
Suite F, Cape Coral in Florida, United States. And films made between 2018 to 202 were the ones accepted.

The NICFF has three levels of awards, 1st Place certificates, Special trophies for outstanding productions (An actual award can be created and sent to those who win 1st Place or for those who are not able to attend for the cost of $66.00).
