Popular Makerere University Business School (MUBS) student, Juma Wasswa Balunywa (JWB) has resorted to organizing events after he unsuccessfully tried his hand at politics. As any steatite, JWB has decided to capitalize on the fame from PR he got from the MUBS guild elections and start a new venture we all never thought would be from him.
He has unveiled a Tours and Travel company known as JWB Tours Travels. This is going to organize its first tour known as ‘JWB ANHAA!” It will take place at Busowuko Falls on the 13th of April 2024 and will be hosted by the man himself Juma Wasswa Balunywa.
Some of the activities that will take place there include swimming, kwepena, soccer, color fest videography, goat roasting among others. Booking is 10k while the actual fee is 50k. Those who pay will be picked up from Forest Mall Lugogo at 8am.

Juma Wasswa Balunywa a son of MUBS former principal, Juma Balunywa became popular and a social media darling in the 2024 MUBS guild elections. Everyone thought that he was the outright candidate to win the privileged office.
Unfortunately, he didn’t even make the final cut as he was disqualified from the main race. It was reported that he had a retake that barred him from going through the nomination stage.
His failure to be nominated saw MUBS thrown into chaos. Teargas rubber bullets rained on the Nakawa based institution in a bid to quell the situation. Finally, he accepted defeat and endorsed NRM candidate, Amanya Moses who finally won the election.
Besides, there is a popular events promoter known has Juma Balunywa. Therefore, when all these aspects are put into context, they will work to the advantage of the young aspiring events organizer.
Sources close to him reveal to this website that, Juma Wasswa Balunywa went into an emotional breakdown after his failure to deliver to his wanting voters that were waiting for his nomination. Even in venturing into events planning and management, he is trying to get closer to students and serve them better.
