Malaika Nyanzi Brings Quits Capital FM After Unmatched 5 Years

Malaika Nyanzi quits Capital fm Uganda after 5 years of service.

Experienced media personality Malaika Nyanzi has disclosed how she ended her five-year tenure at Capital FM. It should be mentioned that she started working with the radio station in Kisementi in 2019. She was coming from KFM, another well-known radio station.

In the radio industry, Malaika has swiftly become a household name. This has been made possible by her dynamic partnership with seasoned media figure James Okoth, also known as Oulanya Columbas. Their show, Overdrive, has been livening up people’s afternoons.

Malaika Nnyanzi took to Facebook to thank everyone who had contributed to the incredible five years she had spent working at the radio station. She did, however, assert that she will eventually make a comeback in the mainstream media.

“Hey, my awesome Afternoon Besties, Can you believe that it has been 5 years already? Since 6th May 2019. 5 amazing, wonderful, fulfilling years of being on the Capital Radio Uganda #MalaikaAndOulanyah. Entertaining you and getting to be a part of your afternoon every Mon – Fri 3pm – 7pm.” Malika Nyanzi started her painful post to her fans.

Thank you so much for loving me and raising me. Thank you for allowing me to be your afternoon bestie  So, with teary eyes and a heart full of joy and love that you filled. I say byeeeeeeeee (you know how I say it on the radio show). I will miss you so much.” She continued her post explaining how she feels about her decision to quit Capital Fm.

“Today, 26th April 2024, will be my last show @capitalfmuganda on #MalaikaAndOulanyah. But you know me,…..I will always find a way to be either on your screen or radio,” she wrote on her Facebook page as she gave a hint on her next move.

Malaika Nyanzi has worked for several media outlets on multiple occasions. She has worked for X FM in two different periods, as well as Capital FM in Kenya and KFM Uganda. She also serves as an event MC in addition. Her future is unknown right now.
