As the Ministry of Education and Sports releases the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results 2023/2024, here are the best-performing schools countrywide. We have listed the best according to UNEB in the past year and a number of schools have continued to dominate the list.
This ‘O’ level results 2023/2024 list includes schools that performed to 100% rate, meaning all candidates passed in Division One, Two and Three. Most of these schools were the first in the past years, and they have repeated the same in the released UCE results 2023/2024.
Uganda Martyrs SS Namugongo in Wakiso with 100%, Seeta High School in Mukono with 100% too. Mt. St. Mary’s Namagunga in Mukono also with 100%, St. Josephs SS Nagalama in Mukono 100%. Bukalasa Minor Seminary in Kalungu, Bishop Cipriano Kihangire SS in Kampala, Seeta High School in Mukono are amonng the best performing schools UCE 2024.
More of the schools that passed highly in UCE results 2023/2024 are; St. Henry’s College Kitovu in Masaka, Namilyango College in Mukono, St. Mary’s College Kisubi in Wakiso, King’s College Buddo, Ntare School in Mbarara, Kisubi Seminary in Wakiso, Nalya SS Namugongo in Wakiso.
UNEB says that, the releases of these UCE results 2023/2024 follows a briefing session by the UNEB to the Minister the morning of today. UNEB more so informed that, a total of 349,459 candidates registered for the 2023 UCE examinations as compared to the 364,467 in 2022.

Additionally, it should be noted that, this 2023 set of candidates is the last cohort of learners that sat for UCE examinations under the old curriculum. An during the releases of the UCE results 2024 UNEB announced arrangements to facilitate the smooth transition from old to new curriculum.
