The GCA, a leading international organisation dedicated to accelerating climate change adaptation, is offering a paid internship opportunity.
This is for a dynamic individual to join their communications team. Based in the Netherlands, the selected candidate will play a key role in promoting the organisation’s crucial work through various digital platforms.
Responsibilities of the Digital Content Intern include; Managing The Global Center on Adaptation social media, including developing and scheduling content. Also, collaborating with program teams to develop compelling content about GCA’s work.
Furthermore, supporting internal communications, such as contributing to the weekly newsletter, updating and posting content on the GCA website and providing ad hoc support to the External Affairs Team.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must be currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in digital media, communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field. Also must possess basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere) and be eager to expand their skillset.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and experience working in diverse, intercultural environments and must be residing in the Netherlands and be authorized to work there. While not mandatory, experience with online animation software and web content management systems is considered an asset. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in French is a bonus.
