Ugandan Celebrities who joined the LGBTQI+ community

Uganda is one of the African countries that has signed the anti-homosexual bill and has denied people of that community their rights. The other African countries just speak about it but they never put anything on paper to prove otherwise. Here is the list of Ugandan Celebrities that have joined the LGBTQI+ community.

However, the Western countries and other developed countries don’t have any issues with the homosexuals. Ugandans who fall into the LGBTQI+ community have fled the country to go where they are welcomed and where they have peace.

There are some celebrities who have left and later announced that they are among the LGBTQ community and they are happy about it. Here is the full list of those Ugandan celebrities that have joined the LGBTQI+ community and have publicly owned it.

Julie Birungi is one of the Ugandan celebrities that joined the LGBTQI+ community. She was married to Pastor Mutesasira and even had children. As a gospel singer and married to a pastor she shocked Ugandans when she moved to Canada and married a fellow woman.

She posts about it and seems clearly very happy as she moved her children to Canada to have a better education. Arthur Kayima is also another Ugandan celebrity who has joined the LGBTQI+ community.  He moved to the UK and he is currently living his best life and being the kind of person, he wants. He is always seen dancing the pride parties showing his satisfaction.

Peng Peng who moved to Boston and even married has always made it clear that he is gay. He says that he doesn’t care about what other people have to say he is happy with whatever is going in his life. He however keeps rotating on a Yes and No button as he says he is gay according to the mood he is in.

Afande Kelekele is also another Ugandan celebrity who anniunced that he is gay and he joined the LGBTQI+ community. This happened a few years ago and he is now in the UK enjoying his ‘holy’ marriage since he wedded.
