The Mayanja family which is where singers Jose Chameleone, Weasel and Pallaso come from has been hit with sad news this morning after the death of their elder brother, Humphrey Mayanja.
Apparently, Humphrey has been receiving cancer treatment at the Uganda Cancer Institute in Mulago. It should be recalled that last year through his Facebook page, he revealed how he was having stomach complications. He had to undergo surgery to alleviate the pain.
Later, he was diagnosed with cancer. The family flew him back to Uganda to receive treatment which has been getting. His father, Mzee Gerald Mayanja a few days ago revealed that they weren’t allowed to visit him for fear of carrying infections.
But sadly, he couldn’t make it as news emerged today morning that he’s passed away. Humphrey Mayanja has lived most of his later years in the US. Chameleone who had a close bond with him as per his songs took to his Facebook page where he posted a photo of him with crying emojis.
This is sad news for the family especially owing to the fact that they lost their last born son, Emmanuel Mayanja alias AK-47 in 2015 under mythical circumstances. In 2018, the family also lost Moze Radio who was like a brother to the family.
