All the unanswered questions aside, events have started to unfold as we draw closer to knowing who attempted to eliminate House of Prayer Ministries lead pastor, Pr. Bugingo. And initial investigations reveal the rifle that was used to do the crime.
Pr. Bugingo survived assassination by unknown assailants on 2nd January 2024, where his bodyguard Corporal Muhumuza Richard died from gunshot wounds. This happened at 9pm along Namungona Zone in Kasubi as he was heading to his home.
Investigations kickstarted immediately although police said that the crime scene was heavily tampered with. This was in a way that, Pr. Bugingo ran away with the car which he was shot in, to Mulago hospital to get treatment.
More so, people converged at the crime scene to ascertain what had really happened. Thus disorganizing the scoop of investigations. But preliminary reports indicate that, a pistol (make and type not disclosed) was used in the Pr. Bugingo shooting.
We are yet to establish more details about this whole thing, but what you should know is that, very many questions are surrounding the Pr. Bugingo shooting. Many unanswered questions keep popping on how Muhumuza Richard died, whether he was already dead before the shooting incident or not.

Because there was no blood spilled at the scene of shooting, there were no glasses scattered at the scene and more. Netizens are still asking a lot of questions even how a pastor is being guarded by the SFC instead of okay, police.
Other Pastors including Pastor Male have also started to question how Pr. Bugingo would be having SFC guarding him yet he preaches that God is the protector but he trusted fellow humans as bodyguards to guard his life.
Other critical thinking Ugandans are asking how Bugingo was released from Intensive Care Unit (ICU) just minutes after he drove himself to Mulago. This left a lot of traces for investigators to start from.
