A court in Luweero has charged a mother who beheaded her daughter in a ritual sacrifice ordeal. This woman known as Nalubega Josephine, 31 is now facing charges of murder and a life sentence.
It’s said that Josephine hacked her daughter, Tumwesigye Caroline, a Primary Six pupil at Bombo Common Primary School. When pressed by authorities, she said that she chopped off her daughter’s head, fingers and toes. She claimed that she did this to appease her gods to usher peace and prosperity into her family as they have suffered for quite long.
According to sources privy to the matter, evidence is still being gathered to pin Nalubega Josephine. And when all this is done, she will be put in front of a judge and once she’s found guilty, she will be charged with first degree murder and a lengthy spell behind bars awaits her. It’s still being investigated to see if she has accomplices.
Authorities in Luwero have come out to criticize this gruesome murder by the mother of her child. They said that such barbaric acts shouldn’t be a thing if this age moreover in such of wealth from the gods.
They advised people to work hard because nothing good comes out of evil. Residents from where Nalubega resided are still in shock over this incident and many are wondering how she killed someone moreover her own child in pursuit of wealth.
