Confirmed news getting to our desk indicates that, city robber and self-proclaimed Mayor of Kampala 2026 Sserunjoji Paddy alias Sobbi is dead. This news has been confirmed through various news outlets in Uganda citing the cause of death his death as well.
According to the news, it is said that Sobbi died after being beaten by an angry mob when he was on duty. This happened in Gomba district in the evening hours and the photos of his body are also making rounds.
It is being informed that, he had gone with a group of youths to evict people on their land. This land is located in Maddu, Gomba and two people are fighting for it. He died in a mob that ensued after he reached on the venue.
This land wrangle in picture is between a one Kaliisa and the family of the late Paul Kiibi. And Sobi was killed with other four people as others survived and cheated death. More of this, those that survived, sustained terrible injuries from the pangas they cut them with.
This self confessed city robber made news headlines months ago when he appeared on cameras while boasting on how he is the commander of all thieves in Central Uganda. In his narratives, at some point he said that, he is the one that sent the Kifeesi crew in 2018 at the burial of Radio Mowzey to go and steal.
Further more, he was at some point accused of being the one that was torturing people in safe houses in Kyengera. Again, in one of his videos, he was referring himself as the Muzzukulu of Museveni, and he was so much into president Museveni’s support, saying that he had collected all Kifeesi thieves to go support the president.
Apart from bragging on how he was the best in the game of stealing from people, he had staged his ambition to contest for the Kampala Lord Mayorship come 2026. His death comes as a wakeup call to all thieves he was manning, that any time is the time to meet your creator.

Burial arrangements for Paddy Sserunjoji aka Sobbi will be communicated, and those he stole from or tortured, he had already asked you to forgive him in his videos that were making rounds in the past months.
