Breaking news coming in indicates that, a bomb like explosive has been detonated at Entebbe Botanical Gardens this evening. Eye-witnesses made a bomb alert and security forces were quick to react and detonate in.
This happened just a few hours after Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja handed over the management of the Gardens to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, commonly known as the Zoo.
When security forces came in, people were evacuated and sent far from the bomb area, and detonated it. They were being overheard counting from 5 to 1 and a huge explosion sound was made.
This is the first bomb threat this year, and the first in years to be planted in an area where a top government official has been. Fortunately enough, no one was hurt and the detonation process was successful.

This however, some outlets say it was not a bomb as others say we wait for the actual report by the security agencies. But according to eye-witnesses and those that recorded videos, they say it was a bomb and PM Robinah Nabbanja survived.
