Biography
Amaechi Muonagor was born on 20 August,1962 in Obosi village in Idemili North, Anambra State in Nigeria. He was born in a humble family, a factor that pushed him beyond limits to change his home, and when he started his acting career, he indeed changed home.
Education
He attended school up to University level and he started from St. Mary’s Primary School in Obosi, and went on to Oraifite Grammar School. From this level, he proceeded to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and he studied economics, and graduated in 1987.
He pursued a short course in acting, something that gave him an upper hand in being a great Nollywood actor.
Acting Career
Amaechi Muonagor started working for News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in 1989, that was after serving in the youth service. He however threw in the towel at NAN and decided to pursue a different career path. That is when he started acting and his first movie was Taboo.
Ever since the, he never looked back as this movie was his acting mantra. His other movies include; Karishika, Igodo, His Last Action, Without Goodbye, Most Wanted Kidnappers, and many more that made him a darling in Nollywood movies.

By the time of his death, Amaechi Muonagor was a wealthy man although the kidney sickness disturbed him, he was worth around $200k and he was doing a lot of businesses where he built his fortune from.
