Ndejje University was buzzing with excitement as they celebrated their 26th Graduation Ceremony. Hundreds of graduates, along with their families and friends, gathered at the main campus in Luwero to mark this special occasion.

It was a proud moment for everyone as students from various fields, including engineering, business, and education, received their hard-earned diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s, and even PhD degrees. Imagine the scene.

All graduates dressed in their caps and gowns, beaming with pride as they finally reached the finish line of their academic journey. The atmosphere was electric with joy and a sense of accomplishment.

The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Canon Prof. Olivia Nassaka, shared some awesome news during the ceremony: 433 female students graduated this year! That’s amazing! The university is clearly making great strides.

And guess what? The ceremony wasn’t just about handing out degrees. It was also about celebrating those who went above and beyond. Top students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, and sports.

Special awards were given to students who really stood out during their time at Ndejje University. They even gave a huge shout-out to the best overall student, inspiring everyone to aim high. But the real highlight of the day was the inspiring speech by Dr. Monica Musenero Musanza, the Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation.

She was the guest of honour, and she had some powerful words for the graduates. She encouraged them to be patient, resilient, and calm as they enter the workforce. Basically, she told them to stay cool and collected, even when things get tough.

Dr. Musanza also emphasized the theme of the graduation ceremony, “Bearing Fruits that Abide,” explaining that it perfectly captures what their lives will be like after university. She even gave some straight-up advice.

Jobs are there,” she said, “but it is your presentation, hard work, and personality that will win them for you.”
