It was an epic and happy time as the reigning Miss Africa World Next Top Model 2024 winner was welcomed in Uganda her home country on Monday 15th. The airport was beefed up with security from Counter Terrorism Police and the airport security.
She was welcomed by the reigning Little Miss Universe who gave her flowers, in company of veteran media personality Miles Rwamiti, Socialites Association of Uganda President, Kirabira Edson, journalists and cultural dancers.
The overwhelmed Trisha Ahwera dropped tears of joy and later on thanked everyone for having given her a heroic welcome. It should be noted that, this is her fourth crown she has so far scooped internationally including the prestigious Top Model Universe.
This whole welcome was spearheaded by a one Edson Kirabira who lobbed some funds to make sure Ahwera Trisha had a great welcome. Others like Kim Swagga, Kanyike Allan from Tourism were on the team that welcomed her.

From there, she was taken to Munyonyo where she held her press conference and talked about several issues regarding her next move and how her crown will impact Ugandans. She said she has raised the Uganda flag high several times without being noticed, and asked the government to pull a helping to these creatives.
