A woman who has identified herself as Rukunde Esther has taken to a video on social media to accuse the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon Thomas Tayebwa of grabbing her land and jailing her husband. In this video, the lady recounted the whole ordeal.

She says that the Member of Parliament has been using certain land brokers to harass them off the land. Additionally, Rukunde Esther said that she reached out to the State House anti-corruption unit boss, Col. Edith Nakalema to help her on this matter.

When these workers of Thomas Tayebwa were arrested, he reached out and they were immediately released. She was told that there is nothing she can do and she won’t get justice anywhere. This woman further alleged that even her lawyer was bribed out of the case and even promoted as a judge in Mpigi.

This woman went ahead to cry to the President saying that they have nowhere to run to. She added that her husband was also arrested and they don’t know where he is. She implored the deputy speaker to come out and tell her what his motive is.

This is because everyone knows that this land belongs to her and her husband. Furthermore, Rukunde Esther asked the speaker why he’s not content with what he has and instead wants to take the little too others have.

The said land is found in Abaita Ababiri along Entebbe Road. And this lady went ahead to say that all the locals there know that this land belongs to Dr. Mahwayiti, her husband.

She told the Ruhinda north MP that he won’t access this land no matter what. On top of that, she wants her husband returned. Ms. Esther added that they have all the proper documentation to show that the land is theirs.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa landed on this video and denied having any land in Abaita. He also asked for information about this lady because she seemed in need of help.
