Sad news coming in from Kikuube district indicates that, The District Health Officer (DHO), Dr. Nelson Naisye, has passed on. This news was confirmed by the district communication officer, Faridah Ndagano.

We are reliably informed that, the district health boss Dr. Nelson Naisye passed away last evening (Friday) at Kikuube Health Centre IV. News suggests that, he had gone there for treatment after spending days of not feeling well.

We are saddened to inform the general public about the death of our DHO, Dr. Nelson Naisye, which occurred today at exactly 6:30 p.m. at Kikuube Health Centre IV,” Faridah Ndagano informed.

Furthermore, Faridah Ndagano told this website that, DHO Dr. Nelson Naisey has been battling with heart-related complications for a long time. A case that we believe is the cause of his death.

He has been getting treatment at Kikuube Health Center IV since Monday.” She added. And said revealed that, Dr. Nelson first attended a district health meeting and left at 4 p.m. to get medication at the district health facility, only to be discovered dead on the hospital bed.

She furthermore informed that, Dr. Nelson’s body has been taken to Mulago National Referral Hospital for postmortem. And guided about the day of burial.
