It has come to our attention through a whistleblower that, Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) bosses are embroiled in a massive over Ugx1bn mess. This is manifested by the delayed IGG report on graft where there has been the returning of Ugx800m secretly.
According to a top secret document that this website landed on, it is being alleged that, UIA bosses have been working tooth and nail to make sure that, before the IGG investigations are done, they should be delayed to that finish covering up some dirty work.
That is why, on 19th January 2024 Ugx800m that was not yet returned to the consolidated fund was finally returned. This money was meant for buying One Stop Centre in Arua and it was supposed to be available in June 2023 but it has been messed with.
More from this whistleblower, it is being alleged that the same UIA bosses are trying hard to install boarder markers in districts of Rukungiri, Kisoro, Isingiro and Mbale to cover up their actions of paying over and above payment terms in the contract.
More is revealed that there was payment for Navision ERP software for over Ugx90m between 2021 to date but there is no contact arising from any procurement process for this. More is revealed that this very payment goes to some account that is connected to one of the bosses at Uganda Investment Authority.
Additionally, there are other points figured out like payment of staff lunch that is above the daily staff consumption, payment of Ugx92m to Footsteps Furniture for furniture that was never delivered and more.

In the same reveal, it is being asserted that there is a massive clean up in the files which were not confiscated by the IGG investigators which is allegedly headed by the Chief Internal Auditor, Bwambale Kyamakya John.
And it is allegedly taking place at Uganda Tourism Board where some bosses like Ahmed, Martin Muhangi the director of Investment Promotion have friends for fear of being nabbed at UIA offices.
