Biography
Tukahirwa Abraham aka Skylanta was born on 15/04/1991, he got the stage name Skylanta after making it to the music industry. He is a Rukungiri located in the Western part of Uganda born. In his family, they were born four children, and is the last born.
Education Background
Tukahirwa Abraham aka Skylanta started his school journey from Mbarara Junior school, in Mbarara city for his primary education (PLE) in 2005. He then went to Eden International School in Mbarara city for his Ordinary level (UCE) in 2009.
Furthermore, he joined Vine High School for his Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education certificate (UACE) 2011. After here, the singer joined Uganda Christian University (UCU) for his Bachelor’s degree.
Music Career
Skylanta was born and raised by a church leader, which introduced him to music and exposed him to musical instruments at an early age. In the due course, he learned how to use many musical instruments. This exposed him to start doing music since it was easy for him to easily access the instruments.
In 2018, as a way to get innovative in the music industry, Skylanta started a live band group called Pulse Ug Band and Entertainment which is one of the best music bands in Western Uganda currently.
This majors in providing educational, social, economic and emotional literacy through music and entertainment. His songs are known for being comic and of Reggae, the same style he introduced his wife Anne Kansiime into.
His songs include; Omunyakyaaro, Hemba, Pause, Ninkwenda, Sheka Mpora, Some More and so many others.
Family
He is a father and husband, the singer is engaged to the best female comedian and singer, philanthropist Anne Kansiime. Skylanta and Anne have one boy child called Selassie Ataho
