Social media has been left in utter shock today after a tweep leaked the alleged salaries of the employees of Next Media Services’ employees. This tweep known as Ninye Tabz has for a couple of days been squaring off with the Naguru based company and spilling a couple of beans.
However this time round he decided to hit below the belt as he leaked the salaries of all the employees there. After facing much criticism from the comments that rained in, he finally deleted the list but the tweeps had already obtained the lists.
Apparently there is a huge gap in the salaries paid to the workers sometimes who seem to even do the same job. According to the lists leaked, Kevin Kaija Kyomuhendo and Maureen Kaawa are the highest paid employees at NBS TV, raking in over 10m shillings.
The popular faces at the station are mostly the news anchors and political talk show hosts. Canary Mugume earns 6.3m shillings while his fellow counterpart, Samson Kasumba earns 4.6m shillings. Simon Kaggwa Njala earns 1.7m shillings while another news anchor, Mildred Tuhaise earns 2mshillings.
Meanwhile all these salaries are before PAYE taxes are cut off. However, the most shocking salary was that of bummy news anchor Isabellah Tugume who earns 390k. This left social media users more shocked because they couldn’t believe that with all her beauty, curves, experience and years at the station she earns peanuts.
Meanwhile, Next Media Services came out to trash this list. It said that this list is inaccurate and the persona; details of their employees are so secure.
