Uganda celebrity chef, Mama D aka Kirabo Dorcus Basheba is at it hitting more nerves as she breaks the current record of the Longest Cooking Marathon by an individual record (Cookathon). She is now eyeing on setting her new record.
This started on 1st June when she attempted officially to break the record of the Longest Cooking Marathon by an Individual and by 5th June, she was done breaking the current record.
It should be known that, the current record holder is called Alan Fisher who cooked for a whooping 119 hours and 57 minutes and 16 seconds on October 2023 in Japan at Matsue, Shimane, Japan.
More to note is that, she is attempting the record for the second time after her first time where she cooked for 212 hours was not approved by Guinness World Records due to glitches in her evidence footage.
She is setting the record from High Note bar and grill located in Kireka, Kamuli road near Stabex petrol station. She saw many sponsors coming through her help that include Azam, Mogas Gas, Aunt Porridge, Tropical Heat spices, Fortune Gold, Rancers Finest and more.

Mama D is not the only Ugandan that has attempted to break a Guinness World Record, but also other Ugandans have done so. The recent being Zedmonk Ssabatontomi aka Kabubi Akram who broke the Longest Rap Marathon record by rapping for 75 hours.
