Singer, princess Juliana Kanyomozi has come out to rectify about her relationship with singer turned politician, and NUP president Bobi Wine. According to a recent viral TikTok video, she was forced to come out and clear the air about her relationship with Bobi, saying that they grew from the same home area so she doesn’t hate him.

In her say, she asserted that, the fact is she doesn’t share the same political beliefs, but that doesn’t strip her of the fact that he is her friend. Juliana Kanyomozi continued to throw some light on the relationship she has with Bobi Wine.

She said that everyone on the internet doesn’t know that the two singers grew up from Kamwokya and shared everything in common. The singer continued to say that, they met again while she was at Capital Fm as a presenter and Bobi went there taking his music.

That is when they met because she had also started to sing, to be specific, she said she had dropped around three songs when Bobi Wine was also starting to do music. That is when the two got the chance to do two hit collaborations of Mama Mbiire and Taata Wabaana.

Further more, she revealed how she supported Bobi Wine during his political endeavors, expressing genuine concern when he faced challenges, such as arrests during the presidential elections. Juliana Kanyomozi disclosed her efforts in staying informed about Bobi Wine’s well-being by regularly checking in with his wife, Barbie, and his big brother Eddie Yawe.

It should be however noted that, Juliana Kanyomozi’s response is because of the backlash she received on social media after speaking out against those who celebrate misfortunes, referencing the trolls following the Bujingo shooting incident.

Social media is currently known for celebrating people’s misfortunes especially those that support the ruling government, NRM. Many people have come out to speak about this dangerously growing vice, but it is all writing on water.
