After jetting in Uganda, Jamaican singer and dancehall maestro Konshens moved straight to Radio’s grave to pay his respects. This was seen as a huge gesture of love, the Jamaican singer had for Radio Mowzey.
However, after visiting the grave of Radio, he had a light moment with Radio Mowzey’s mother, Kasuubo Jane. It was a very touching moment as we saw her try to dry her wet eyes at some moments.
After that, Konshens left for his hotel room to have a rest. And then buzz started to move around, labeling him ‘stingy’ for not giving then old woman anything like mabugo (condolences).
This landed into Konshens’ ears and he appeared on television to clear that. In his defense, he said that he is Jamaican, and for them that is not in their culture. Paying someone a visit and leave them with something. So he asked Ugandans to excuse him for that.
“Visiting someone and taking them something is not in our culture, i was there not informed about leaving her with something like condolences. I am sorry for that, maybe next time better” Konshens is quoted quipping.
It should be noted that, Konshens is in Uganda to headline the Sunday Blankets and Wine even that will take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval. This is his second visit in Uganda, and Ugandans are ready to vibe and groove on his music.
